Tunisian Tagine with Olives
A classic Tunisian dish made with the rich flavors of tagine, olives, and spices. This hearty stew is perfect for a cold evening.
Ingredients

- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- β2 teaspoons tagine spice mix
- β1 cup chopped olives
- β1 can chickpeasdrained and rinsed
- β1 tablespoon honeyoptional
- β2 tablespoons fresh parsleychopped

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the tagine spice mix and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
