Slovakian Apple Puff Pastry
A traditional Slovakian dessert featuring a flaky puff pastry crust filled with sweet apples and indulgent ingredients.

- β2 Apples
- β1 tsp Cinnamon
- β1/2 cup Sugar
- β1/4 cup Heavy Cream
- β1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until the apples are evenly coated.

Place the apple mixture onto one half of the puff pastry, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges.

Fold the other half of the puff pastry over the apple mixture, pressing the edges to seal.

Brush the top of the pastry with the heavy cream and cut a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.

Place the pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
