Creamy Canadian Mac and Cheese
A rich and comforting Canadian-inspired macaroni and cheese dish made with a creamy fromage blanc sauce.
Ingredients

- β1 cup Fromage Blancsoftened to room temperature
- β2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- β2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- β1 cup Milk
- β1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black Pepper

1. Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

4. Add the flour and whisk to create a roux, cooking for 1-2 minutes.

5. Slowly pour in the milk, whisking continuously to avoid lumps.

6. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until it thickens.

7. Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the fromage blanc until melted and smooth.
