Saffron Paella with Shrimp and Chicken
A classic Spanish paella dish loaded with succulent shrimp, tender chicken, and a hint of saffron.
Ingredients
- β1/2 teaspoon Indulgent Saffron
- β1 pound Chicken Breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 pound Andouille Sausagecut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 cup Pillowy White Rice
- β1/2 teaspoon Spanish Smoked Paprika
- β2 inches Gingersliced
- β1 large Paella Panor a large skillet with a heat diffuser

Heat the paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add the sliced ginger and cook for 1 minute.

Add the rice and stir to coat with the oil and mix with the chicken and sausage.

Add the saffron, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.

Increase the heat to high and cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
