Spicy Korean Noodle Soup
A spicy and comforting Korean noodle soup made with kalguksu noodles, featuring a flavorful broth and crunchy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 pound kalguksu noodles
- β2 teaspoons icy Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β2 tablespoons juicy Korean chili paste (gochujang)
- β2 cups noodles
- β4 cups water
- β1 teaspoon korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β1 tablespoon fish sauce
- β1 tablespoon crushed sesame seeds
- β1/4 cup green onions
- β1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

Bring the water to a boil in a large pot.

Add the kalguksu noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes or according to the package instructions.

In a separate pan, heat the toasted sesame oil over medium heat.

Add the green onions and cook for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.

Add the Korean chili flakes (gochugaru), fish sauce, and crushed sesame seeds to the pan and stir to combine.
