Japanese Chicken Satay
A unique twist on traditional satay, this Japanese-inspired dish combines spicy chicken with malaysian flavors.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Chicken BreastBoneless, skinless
- β1/2 cup Malaysian Peanut SauceStore-bought or homemade
- β2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- β1 tablespoon Honey
- β1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- β1 tablespoon Grated Ginger
- β1 teaspoon Hot Sauce
- β1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro
- β10-12 Satay Skewers
- β10-12 Wooden Skewers

1. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, grated ginger, and hot sauce.

2. Add the chicken to the marinade and mix well to coat.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

4. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated chicken onto the satay skewers.

5. Grill the chicken for 8-10 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

6. Brush the satay with peanut sauce during the last 2 minutes of grilling.
