Slovakian Veal Bao
A traditional Slovakian dish, this veal bao recipe combines the flavors of the region with the convenience of a bao.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Vealpreferably thinly sliced
- β4-6 Bao bunsavailable in most Asian grocery stores
- β1/4 cup Herbaceous saucesee below for recipe
- β2 tablespoons Slovakian paprikamild or hot, depending on preference
- β1/4 cup Sour creamoptional
- β2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsleyoptional garnish

Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the Slovakian paprika and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the thinly sliced veal and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the herbaceous sauce and stir to coat the veal.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.

Split the bao buns in half and toast until lightly browned.
