Turkish-Style Breakfast Tacos
A hearty twist on traditional tacos, featuring scrambled eggs, chorizo, and a tangy salsa.
Ingredients
- β1/2 pound chorizoMexican-style chorizo
- β4-6 eggsFresh eggs
- β1 tablespoon menemen spice blendTurkish-inspired spice blend
- β8-10 corn tortillas tortillasWarm tortillas for serving
- β1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantroFresh cilantro for garnish
- β1/2 cup crumbled feta cheeseOptional feta cheese for topping
- β1 cup menemen salsaHomemade or store-bought salsa
- β2 tablespoons almond oilFor cooking chorizo
- β2 cloves garlicMinced garlic for added flavor

Heat 1 tablespoon of almond oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chorizo and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the chorizo from the skillet with a slotted spoon and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of almond oil.
