Lamb and Pilaf Pilaf
A hearty and flavorful syrian dish made with lamb and pilaf, perfect for a special occasion.
Ingredients
- β1 (2 pounds) lamb shouldercut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 cups pilafpreferably homemade
- β2 tablespoons olive oilfor cooking
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 teaspoon saltto taste
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepperto taste
- β1/2 teaspoon paprikato taste

Preheat the oven to 325Β°F (165Β°C).

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium-high heat.

Add the lamb cubes and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Remove the lamb from the pan and set aside.

Add the chopped onion to the pan and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the pilaf to the pan and stir to combine with the onion and garlic mixture.

Return the lamb to the pan and stir to combine with the pilaf mixture.
