Spicy Kielbasa Tagine
A twist on traditional Moroccan tagine, this spicy kielbasa tagine combines the bold flavors of Thailand with the hearty taste of kielbasa.
Ingredients
- β1 pound kielbasa
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 inches gingersliced
- β1 medium red bell pepperchopped
- β2 cups chicken broth
- β2 tablespoons fish sauce
- β1 tablespoon brown sugar
- β1 teaspoon ground cumin
- β1 teaspoon ground coriander
- β1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- β2 tablespoons coconut oil

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add kielbasa and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add onion, garlic, and ginger, and cook until onion is softened, about 5 minutes.

Add red bell pepper and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add chicken broth, fish sauce, brown sugar, cumin, coriander, and cayenne pepper.

Stir to combine and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add kielbasa back to the pot and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
