Teriyaki Chicken Wrap
A twist on traditional Japanese flavors with a hearty Peruvian chicken wrap. Marinated chicken, crunchy veggies, and savory sauce come together for a delicious meal.
Ingredients
- β4 Peruvian chicken breastsBoneless and skinless
- β4 Whole wheat tortillaLarge wrap
- β1 cup Sushi riceCooked according to package instructions
- β1 CucumberSliced
- β1 CarrotsShredded
- β1/4 cup Teriyaki sauceStore-bought or homemade
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seedsOptional garnish

1. In a large bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

2. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

3. Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

4. Assemble the wraps by spreading a quarter cup of sushi rice onto each tortilla, followed by sliced chicken, cucumber, carrots, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
