French-Style Frankfurter Dumplings
A twist on traditional French cuisine, this hearty dish combines the flavors of Malaysia with the comfort of a classic frankfurter and dumplings.
Ingredients

- β1 cup All-purpose flourfor dumpling wrappers
- β1 Eggfor dumpling binding
- β1/2 cup Waterfor dumpling dough
- β2 tbsp Malaysian chili saucefor added flavor
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- βto taste Saltfor seasoning
- βto taste Black pepperfor seasoning

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and egg to make the dumpling dough.

Gradually add water while mixing until a smooth dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes elastic and smooth.

Divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a small egg.

Flatten each ball into a thin circle, about 1/8 inch thick.

Place a frankfurter in the center of each circle.

Fold the dough over the frankfurter to form a half-moon shape, and press the edges together to seal the dumpling.

Repeat with the remaining dough and frankfurters.

In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.

Add the dumplings to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
