Italian Suppli
A hearty Italian snack filled with juicy mozzarella and crispy on the outside. Perfect for a quick bite.
Ingredients
- β1 cup BreadItalian bread, cut into small cubes
- β8 ounces MozzarellaJuicy and fresh
- β1/2 cup RicottaAdd a touch of creaminess
- β1/4 cup ParmesanGrated, for extra flavor
- β1 tablespoon PistachioChopped pistachios for added crunch
- β1 EggBeaten, for egg wash
- βto taste SaltAdd a pinch of salt for flavor
- βfor frying Olive oilFor crispy exterior

1. Preheat the oil in a deep frying pan to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine the bread, mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, and pistachio.

3. Mix well until everything is fully incorporated.

4. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

5. Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls.

6. Dip each ball into the beaten egg, then roll in the bread crumbs to coat.

7. Fry the suppli in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

8. Remove the suppli from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
