Spicy Ethiopian Chicken Wot
A traditional Ethiopian dish made with chicken cooked in a spicy wot sauce, served with a side of egg and a hearty accompaniment.
Ingredients

- β2 cups ethiopian wot saucehomemade or store-bought
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 large eggbeaten
- β2 tbsp olive oilfor cooking
- β1 tsp saltfor seasoning
- β1 tsp black pepperfor seasoning

Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Add the chicken breast pieces and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the Ethiopian wot sauce and stir to combine.

Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
