Hearty Egyptian Chicken Stew
A flavorful and comforting stew inspired by the rich flavors of Egypt, made with tender chicken, hearty vegetables, and aromatic spices.

- β4 cups hearty brothhomemade or store-bought

- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 medium carrotspeeled and chopped
- β2 medium potatoespeeled and chopped
- β2 tablespoons tomato pasteoptional
- β1 teaspoon cuminground
- β1 teaspoon corianderground
- β1 teaspoon saltto taste
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepperto taste

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add carrots and potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.

Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add broth, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
