Matcha Pancake with Chocolate Sauce
A twist on traditional Japanese-style pancakes, topped with a rich chocolate sauce. Perfect for a romantic breakfast.
Ingredients

- β 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- β 2 cups milk
- β 2 large eggs
- β 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- β 1/2 cup pancake mix
- β 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- β 1 cup chocolate chips

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, matcha powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.

Drop the batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto the pan and cook until bubbles appear on the surface.

Flip the pancakes and cook until golden brown.

While the pancakes are cooking, melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave in 10-second increments, stirring between each interval.
