Kenyan Stew with Gooey Dumplings

1. Cut the stew meat into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and black pepper.

2. Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and cook the stew meat until browned.

3. Add the chopped onions and cook until they're translucent.

4. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

5. Add the chopped chilli peppers and cook for another minute.

6. Add the stew meat, tomatoes, vegetable broth, and quedo cheese (if using).

7. Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30-40 minutes.

8. While the stew is cooking, prepare the gooey dumpling dough.

9. Roll out the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
