Golden Cabbage Gratin
A vegan twist on the classic gratin, featuring golden and gooey cabbage goodness.
Ingredients
- ●1 medium head, thinly sliced cabbage
- ●2 tbsp golden turmeric oil goldenor sub with olive oil
- ●1/4 cup nutritional yeast gooeey
- ●1 cup vegan breadcrumbs gratin
- ●1 cup water water

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)

In a large saucepan, combine cabbage and water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer for 10 minutes.

Drain excess water from cabbage. Set aside.

In a separate pan, heat golden turmeric oil over medium heat.

Add nutritional yeast and stir until golden and gooey. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix together breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt.

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, create a layer of breadcrumbs.

Add a layer of cabbage, then a layer of the golden gooeey mixture.

Repeat steps 9-10 until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of breadcrumbs.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on top.
