Filipino Lumpia Recipe
A crispy and delicious Filipino-style spring roll recipe, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 package (usually 20-24 wrappers) Vegetable Lumpia Wrappers
- β1/2 cup Glorious Glaze (Pancit Sauce)store-bought or homemade
- β1 cup (any mix of cabbage, carrots, onion, bean sprouts) Golden Chopped Vegetablesshredded or chopped finely
- β1 cup (any mix of vegetables, meat, or seafood) Filipino Lumpia Fillingshredded or chopped finely
- β1/4 cup Vegetable Oil

1. Prepare the lumpia filling by mixing together the chopped vegetables, filipino lumpia filling, and any additional ingredients.

2. Lay a lumpia wrapper on a flat surface, with one corner pointing towards you.

3. Place about 1 tablespoon of the filling mixture in the center of the wrapper.

4. Brush the edges of the wrapper with water.

5. Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up the wrapper to form a tight cylinder.

6. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

7. Heat about 1/4 cup of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

8. When the oil is hot, add a few of the lumpia to the skillet (do not overcrowd).

9. Fry the lumpia until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

10. Remove the lumpia from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
