Glutinous Stroop Fritters
Crunchy fritters filled with a sweet, sticky stroop core, using glutinous rice flour for added texture.
Ingredients
- β1 cup Glutinous rice flour
- β1/2 cup Stroop
- β1/2 cup Gentle vegetable oil
- β1 Egg
- β1 tablespoon Sugar
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- β1/4 teaspoon Salt

1. In a large bowl, whisk together glutinous rice flour and sugar.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, stroop, and vanilla extract.

3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

4. Heat 1/2 cup of gentle vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

5. Using a spoon, drop small balls of dough into the oil and flatten slightly.

6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

7. Remove fritters from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
