Century Egg Congee
A traditional Chinese breakfast dish made with century eggs and congee.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Congee
- β1 Century Egg
- β1 lb Lamb
- β2 tbsp Gentle Oil
Instructions

Rinse the lamb under cold water and pat dry.

Heat the gentle oil in a pan over medium heat.

Sear the lamb until browned on all sides.

Add 2 cups of water to the pan and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

While the lamb is cooking, cook the congee according to package instructions.

Once the lamb is cooked, slice it thinly.

Crack the century egg into a bowl and stir until the yolk and white are well combined.

Serve the cooked congee topped with the sliced lamb and century egg.
