Garlicky Tagine Chicken
A flavorful and aromatic chicken dish inspired by North African cuisine, made with a rich and spicy tagine sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds, cut into 8 pieces chicken breast
- β3 cloves, minced garlic
- β1/2 cup taginesee notes
- β2 tablespoons garlicky
- β1/4 cup velvety
- β1 teaspoon energizingoptional
- β2 tablespoons olive oil
- β1/4 cup, chopped fresh parsley
- β2 tablespoons lemon juice
- β1 teaspoon cumin
- β1 teaspoon coriander
- β1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1. Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

2. Add the chicken to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

3. Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.

4. Add the minced garlic to the pot and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

5. Add the tagine, garlicky, and velvety to the pot and stir to combine.

6. Add the cumin, coriander, and cayenne pepper to the pot and stir to combine.

7. Return the chicken to the pot and stir to coat with the sauce.

8. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
