Vietnamese Seafood Dumplings
A fusion of Vietnamese flavors with a seafood twist in a steamed dumpling. This dish is both refreshing and savory.
Ingredients
- ●1 package Vietnamese seafood mixusually includes shrimp, scallops, and fish
- ●1 package garlicky wonton wrappersstore-bought wonton wrappers
- ●1 head shattering lettuceto use as garnish
- ●1/4 cup dumpling fillingstore-bought or homemade mixture
- ●2 cloves garlicminced
- ●2 tablespoons soy saucefor serving
- ●1 tablespoon fish sauceoptional
- ●1 teaspoon sesame oilfor serving

1. Prepare the steamer basket and fill the bottom with water.

2. In a pan, heat sesame oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant.

3. Add the Vietnamese seafood mix and cook until lightly browned.

4. Add the dumpling filling and mix well.

5. Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface and place a tablespoon of the seafood mix in the center.

6. Fold the wrapper into a triangle and press the edges to seal.

7. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

8. Place the steamer basket over the boiling water and steam the dumplings for 8-10 minutes.
