Cheesy Borek
A classic Turkish pastry filled with cheese and served as a snack or light meal. This recipe uses a simple dough and a flavorful cheese filling.

- ●8 ounces cheese
- ●4 ounces turkish cheese
- ●2 tablespoons garlicky spread
- ●1/4 cup mushroom duxelles
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the borek dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

Cut the dough into squares of about 4 inches per side.

Place a tablespoon of cheese in the center of each square.

Brush the edges with water and fold the dough over the cheese to form a triangle.

Press the edges together to seal the borek.

Brush the tops with a little bit of water and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
