Miso-Glazed Fish Fillet with Cacio e Pepe Crunch
A modern fusion of Japanese and Italian flavors, featuring a crispy cacio e pepe crust on top of a pan-seared fish fillet, finished with a sweet and savory miso glaze.
Ingredients

- ●2 tablespoons Molten Cacio e Pepesee below for cacio e pepe recipe
- ●1 teaspoon Garlicky Italian Seasoningor to taste
- ●1/4 cup Italian Breadcrumbsfor cacio e pepe crust
- ●2 tablespoons Miso Pastewhite or yellow miso works well

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the fish fillet with garlicky Italian seasoning.

Dip the fish fillet in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to coat.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the fish for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until cooked through.

While the fish is baking, mix miso paste with a small amount of water to create a glaze.

Remove the skillet from the oven and brush the miso glaze over the top of the fish.

Return the skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the glaze is caramelized.
