Middle Eastern Lamb Tagine

Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Lamb shoulderCut into 2-inch pieces
- β2 tablespoons Eastern spicesMix of cumin, coriander, and cinnamon
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 cup Middle eastern dried fruitsDried apricots, prunes, and raisins
- β1 cup Tagine sauceHomemade or store-bought
- β2 tablespoons Gooey honeyFor serving

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the lamb in batches, about 5 minutes per batch.

Remove the lamb and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium and add the garlic, cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the eastern spices and cook for 1 minute.

Add the tagine sauce and bring to a boil.

Return the lamb to the pot, cover, and transfer to the oven.

Bake at 300Β°F for 2 1/2 hours, or until the lamb is tender.
