Crispy Fish Bites with Norwegian Remoulade
A delicious snack made with crispy fried fish bites served with a creamy Norwegian-inspired remoulade sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound (450g) Norwegian fish filletsWhite fish such as cod or haddock works well
- β1 cup (120g) Garlicky breadcrumbsStore-bought or homemade
- β1 cup (120g) CrispsCrushed for coating
- β1/2 cup (120ml) Vegetable oilFor frying
- β1 teaspoon Garlic powderFor flavor
- β2 tablespoons Lemon juiceFor remoulade sauce
- β1 cup (240g) MayonnaiseFor remoulade sauce
- β1 tablespoon Chopped fresh dillFor garnish
- βto taste Salt

Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces.

In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs and crushed crisps.

Dip each piece of fish into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add a few pieces of the coated fish to the skillet and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Remove the fish from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and garlic powder.
