French Smoky Stew
A hearty, comforting French stew made with smoky sausage and fragrant fennel.
Ingredients
- β1 pound garlicky sausageSlice into 1/2-inch pieces
- β2 bulbs fennelSlice into 1/2-inch pieces
- β2 teaspoons kenyian spicesSmoked paprika and chili powder blend
- β2 large creamy potatoesSlice into 1/2-inch pieces
- β4 slices smoky baconChopped into small pieces
- β2 cups stew vegetablesDiced carrots and celery

Heat the oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C).

In a large Dutch oven, cook the smoky bacon over medium heat until crispy.

Remove the bacon and set aside. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned.

Add the sliced fennel and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the chopped potatoes, diced vegetables, and kenyian spices.

Stir to combine, then add the browned bacon back into the pot.

Cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven.
