Spicy Thai Satay
A traditional Thai dish featuring marinated meat skewers grilled to perfection. Serve with your favorite peanut sauce.
Ingredients
- β500g Australian LambCut into 1-inch cubes
- β1 medium OnionThinly sliced
- β1/4 cup Fresh CilantroChopped
- β2 tbsp Spicy Thai Red Curry Paste
- β1/4 cup Coconut Milk
- β2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- β2 tbsp Kecap Manis (Sweet Soy Sauce)
- β10-12 Skewers (Wooden or Metal)

1. In a large bowl, whisk together red curry paste, coconut milk, kecap manis, and vegetable oil.

2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

4. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

5. Thread the marinated lamb onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

6. Grill the satay for 8-10 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

7. Meanwhile, grill the sliced onions for 3-4 minutes per side, or until caramelized.

8. Serve the satay hot with grilled onions, chopped cilantro, and your favorite peanut sauce.
