French Flaky Galette Bread
A delicious homemade bread with a delicate flaky crust and a soft interior. Perfect for serving with your favorite soups or salads.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 cups Flaky Pastry Doughhomemade or store-bought
- β1/4 cup Kissed Buttersoftened
- β1/2 teaspoon Saltoptional
- β2 cups Bread Flour
- β1 teaspoon French Bread Yeast
- β1 cup Waterwarm
- β1 Eggbeaten
- β1 tablespoon Olive Oil

2. Roll out the flaky pastry dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

3. In a small bowl, mix the kissed butter and salt (if using).

4. Spread the butter mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

5. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pressing gently to seal.

6. Place the galette on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
