Crispy Pork Wrap
A flavorful Vietnamese-inspired wrap filled with crispy pork and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
- β400g thin pork slices
- β1 cup all-purpose flour
- β1 tablespoon grated ginger
- β1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper
- β1 cup vegetable oil
- β4 frankfurter-sized rice paper wraps
- β4 fresh cilantro leaves
- β4 lime wedges
- β1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- β1 tablespoon sriracha

1. In a shallow dish, mix together flour, ginger, and black pepper.

2. Dredge the pork slices in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.

3. Heat 1/2 cup of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Add the pork slices to the skillet and cook until crispy and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

5. Remove the pork from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

6. Warm the rice paper wraps by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

7. Assemble the wraps by placing a few pieces of the crispy pork onto the center of each wrap, followed by a few cilantro leaves and a lime wedge.

8. Drizzle hoisin sauce and sriracha over the pork and serve immediately.
