Indulgent Empanada Tart
An Italian twist on traditional Argentine empanadas, featuring a flaky crust and sweet fruit filling.
Ingredients
- β1 package flaky pastry dough
- β1 cup dried fruita mix of cranberries and raisins
- β1/2 cup indulgent chocolate chips
- β1 tsp argentinian vanilla extract
- β2 tbsp sugar
- β1 egg
- β1 tbsp milk

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the pastry dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

Cut out circles of dough using a cookie cutter.

In a bowl, mix together the dried fruit, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, sugar, egg, and milk.

Place a spoonful of the fruit mixture in the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough in half to form a triangle and press the edges together to seal.

Brush the tops of the empanadas with egg wash.
