Schnitzel Chicken Skewers
A German-inspired dish of marinated chicken cooked on skewers and served with a side of tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- β500g chicken breast
- β250ml velvety barbecue sauce
- β100ml brazilian chimichurrioptional
- β50ml floral honeyoptional
- β20ml olive oil
- β10-12 skewers
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper

1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, and pepper.

3. Cut the chicken breast into 1-inch cubes and thread them onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

4. Brush the chicken with the olive oil mixture and season with salt and pepper.

5. Grill the chicken skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through.

6. While the chicken is cooking, mix together the velvety barbecue sauce and brazilian chimichurri (if using) in a small bowl.

7. Once the chicken is cooked, brush it with the barbecue sauce mixture and grill for an additional 1-2 minutes.
