Filipino Bao Dessert
A Filipino-inspired dessert made with Bao, floral flavors, and gelatin, creating a unique and sweet treat.
Ingredients
- β12 pieces Bao
- β1 envelope (0.25 oz) GelatinUnflavored gelatin
- β1 can (14 oz) Coconut MilkFull-fat coconut milk
- β1 cup Granulated Sugar
- β2 tbsp Honey
- β1 tsp Floral Extract (Rose or Jasmine)

In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes.

In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, granulated sugar, and honey. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.

Add the floral extract to the saucepan and remove from heat.

Add the gelatin mixture to the saucepan and stir until the gelatin is fully dissolved.

Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and refrigerate until set, about 3-4 hours.

Cut the Bao into small pieces and use them to garnish the dessert.
