Turkish Prawn Revani Sushi Rolls
A unique fusion of Japanese sushi and Turkish flavors, featuring pan-seared prawns, crunchy revani crumbs, and a hint of roasted spices.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Japanese short-grain ricepreferably Japanese mochigome
- β12 large Prawns (shrimp)peeled and deveined
- β1/2 cup Revani crumbsstore-bought or homemade
- β1/4 cup Flavorful roasted sesame oilstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tsp Turkish-style sumacoptional
- β12-15 sheets Sushi nori (seaweed sheets)dried or fresh
- β1 Cucumberthinly sliced
- β1 Avocadothinly sliced

Prepare the sushi rice according to the package instructions.

Cut the prawns in half lengthwise and season with sumac, if using.

Pan-sear the prawns in sesame oil until cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Prepare the revani crumbs by crushing them in a food processor or placing them in a plastic bag and crushing with a rolling pin.

Cut the nori sheets into desired sizes for the sushi rolls.

Assemble the sushi rolls with the cooked prawns, cucumber, avocado, and a small amount of sushi rice.

Roll into tight, compact cylinders and slice into individual pieces.
