Polish Bean Stew
A hearty, flavorful stew made with polish sausage, beans, and tagine spices. This mexican twist on a traditional polish dish is a perfect cold-weather meal.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Polish SausageSlice into bite-sized pieces before cooking
- β1 can Canned BeansDrained and rinsed
- β2 teaspoons Tagine Spice BlendAvailable at most middle eastern or specialty stores
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 sheet Flaky PastryThawed and cut into squares

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large Dutch oven, cook the sliced polish sausage over medium-high heat until browned.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in the tagine spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add the canned beans and cook for 5 minutes.

Roll out the flaky pastry and cut into squares.
