Italian-Style Turkey Poutine Casserole
A unique fusion of Italian and Canadian flavors in a hearty casserole. The fermented flavors of the cheese add a tangy twist to the classic poutine.
Ingredients

- β1 cup, shredded Poutine cheese curds
- β2 cups, sliced Poutine fries
- β1 can, 28 oz Canned tomatoes
- β2 tablespoons Olive oil
- β1 cup, chopped Fresh basil
- β1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper
- β1 cup, shredded Fermented mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the sliced turkey sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the sliced poutine fries to the skillet and cook until they start to brown, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the canned tomatoes, olive oil, basil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Transfer the skillet mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Top the skillet mixture with the shredded poutine cheese curds and fermented mozzarella cheese.
