Creamy Tagine with Pear
A rich and exotic dessert inspired by Moroccan cuisine, featuring a creamy sauce and sweet poached pear.

- β1 taginea 1-quart ceramic or clay pot
- β1 cup heavy creamor substitute with coconut cream
- β1/2 cup sugaror to taste
- β1/4 tsp cinnamonground
- β1/4 tsp saltoptional

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Rinse and peel the pear, then cut it in half lengthwise.

Place the pear halves in the tagine, skin side down.

In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, sugar, cinnamon, and salt (if using).

Pour the cream mixture over the pears in the tagine.

Cover the tagine with its lid and transfer it to a baking sheet.
