Tunisian Cobnut Tagine
A hearty and flavorful stew originating from Tunisia, featuring cobnuts as a main ingredient. This recipe is perfect for a chilly evening.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, chopped Cobnuts
- β2 medium, peeled and chopped Carrots
- β2 medium, chopped Onions
- β1/4 cup, sliced Almonds
- β2 tbsp Pomegranate molasses
- β2 tbsp Olive oil
- β1-inch piece, grated Ginger
- β1 tsp Cumin
- β1 tsp Paprika
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1/2 tsp Black pepper

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the chopped onions and cook until they're translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the grated ginger and cook for an additional minute.

Add the chopped carrots, sliced almonds, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the chopped cobnuts and pomegranate molasses.
