Filipino-Style Cornmeal Crusted Tofu with Earthy Pilaf
A flavorful and nutritious dish that combines the earthy taste of pilaf with the crispy cornmeal crust of tofu.
Ingredients

- β1 cup cornmeal
- β2 cups pilaf
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β3 cloves garlic
- β1 tsp gingergrated
- β2 tbsp soy sauce
- βto taste pepper
- β1/4 cup scallionschopped

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Mix cornmeal, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.

Crumble tofu into the bowl and toss to coat with cornmeal mixture.

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Transfer tofu to a baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until crispy.
