Korean-Style Chinese-Style Stir-Fried Jjigae
A fusion twist on traditional stir-fry with the bold flavors of Korean jjigae. Caramelized garlic and onions add a sweet depth, while the Chinese stir-fry technique brings a delicate crunch.
Ingredients
- β2 tablespoons Sesame oil
- β3 cloves Caramelized garlic
- β1/2 cup Caramelized onion
- β1 teaspoon Korean chili flakes
- β2 cups Jjigae
- β1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
- β1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
- β1/4 cup Green onions
- βto taste Salt

Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the caramelized garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the caramelized onion and cook for 2 minutes, until softened.

Add the Korean chili flakes and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
