Easy Chilli Gratin Casserole
A hearty and flavorful casserole made with ground beef, chilli, and topped with a creamy gratin. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Ground Beef
- β1 can Chilli
- β2 medium Spiced Norwegian Potatoes
- β1 cup Milk
- β1 cup shredded Gratin Cheese
- β2 tablespoons Butter
- β Salt and Pepper

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the chilli to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5 minutes.

While the meat mixture is cooking, slice the spiced Norwegian potatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds.

In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced potatoes and cook for 5 minutes, or until they start to brown.

Transfer the potato mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with the meat mixture and pour in the milk.

Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top of the casserole and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is hot and bubbly.
