Cranberry Dumplings
A sweet and tangy dessert made with Ukrainian-style dumplings and dried cranberries.
Ingredients
- β2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
- β1 cup Dried cranberries
- β1/2 cup Sugar
- β1/4 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- β2 Large eggs
- β1 package (usually 20-24 wrappers) Dumpling wrappers
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar.

Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.

Divide the dough into 8-10 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and flatten slightly.

Place 1-2 tablespoons of dried cranberries in the center of each dough piece.

Cover the filling with the dough, pressing the edges together to seal.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Gently add the dumplings.

Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the dumplings float to the surface.
