Baby Squid Chowder
A hearty and flavorful seafood chowder featuring baby squid and a hint of Canadian spices.
Ingredients
- β1 pound, cleaned and cut into bite-sized pieces Baby squid
- β6 slices, diced Canadian bacon
- β2 medium, peeled and diced Potatoes
- β1 medium, diced Onion
- β3 cloves, minced Garlic
- β1 cup Clam juice
- β1/2 cup Milk
- β2 tablespoons Butter
Instructions

Heat butter in a large pot over medium heat.

Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add diced Canadian bacon and cook until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Add diced potatoes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add clam juice, milk, and baby squid. Stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and cook, covered, for 10-12 minutes or until the squid is cooked through.
