Turkish Lamb Kofte
A traditional Turkish dish made with lamb and spices, served as an appetizer.
Ingredients
- β500g lamb
- β2 tbsp icli kofte spice mix
- β1 onion
- β2 cloves garlic
- β1 tsp dried parsley
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp black pepper
- β1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- β1 eggs
- β1/2 cup yogurt

1. Preheat the oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F).

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lamb, spice mix, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands until just combined.

3. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a small oval shape.

4. Dip each kofte into the flour, coating both sides evenly.

5. Dip the floured kofte into the beaten egg, making sure they are fully coated.

6. Finally, roll the kofte in the yogurt to coat.

7. Place the kofte on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.

8. Serve the kofte warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
