German Meat Salad
A hearty and flavorful salad made with sautéed meat and a variety of vegetables, inspired by traditional German cuisine.
Ingredients
- ●500g Ground beef80/20 lean to fat ratio
- ●1 medium Onionfinely chopped
- ●1 medium Bell pepperfinely chopped
- ●2 medium Tomatodiced
- ●200g Salad mixyour choice of greens
- ●2 tbsp Dijon mustardoptional
- ●2 tbsp Vinegarapple cider or white wine
- ●to taste Salt and pepper

1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

2. Add the finely chopped onion and bell pepper and cook until softened.

3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

4. Add the diced tomato and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard and vinegar.

6. Add the salad mix to the bowl and toss to combine.

7. Add the cooked meat mixture to the salad and toss to combine.

8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
