Delicate Lamb Doner Kebab
A classic Turkish dish made with thinly sliced lamb, served with a side of warm pita bread and your choice of toppings.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Lamb shoulderSliced into thin strips
- β2 teaspoons Delicate Doner Kebab seasoning blendAvailable at most Middle Eastern markets
- β4-6 Turkish pita breadWarm and toasted
- β1 Red onionThinly sliced
- β2 TomatoThinly sliced
- β1/4 cup Fresh parsleyChopped
- β2 tablespoons Lemon juiceFreshly squeezed
- β2 tablespoons Olive oilFor brushing pita bread

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, mix together Doner Kebab seasoning blend and lemon juice.

Add the lamb strips to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade.

Grill the lamb for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

Warm the pita bread by wrapping it in foil and heating it in the oven for 5 minutes.

Assemble the kebabs by placing a few slices of lamb onto each pita bread, topped with red onion, tomato, and parsley.
