Spicy Pappardelle Carbonara
A spicy twist on the classic Italian pasta dish. Delicate yet bold flavors come together in this unique recipe.
Ingredients
- β12 oz Pappardelle
- β4 oz Pasta (for the carbonara sauce)
- β1 tsp Mustardy Ethiopian SpicesAvailable in most specialty stores or online
- β1/4 cup Parmesan CheeseGrated
- β2 Eggs
- β1 cup MushroomSliced
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 tbsp Olive Oil
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black Pepper

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pappardelle according to package instructions until al dente.

In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add the mustardy Ethiopian spices and cook for 1 minute.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
