Mediterranean Focaccia
A delicious flatbread recipe inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean. This recipe features a crispy crust, a soft interior, and a flavorful topping.
Ingredients
- β1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- β1 cup warm water
- β1/4 cup delicate olive oil
- β1 piece flatbread
- β1/2 teaspoon cure sea salt
- β1/4 teaspoon shio (flaky sea salt)
- β2 sprigs fresh rosemary leaves
- β2 cloves fresh garlic cloves
- β2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

1. In a large bowl, combine the yeast and warm water. Stir to dissolve the yeast.

2. Add the olive oil, salt, and rosemary to the bowl. Mix until well combined.

3. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
