Eastern Harees Flank Steak
A flavorful Middle Eastern-inspired dish featuring tender flank steak and delicate harees, served with a side of sautéed vegetables.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup hareespreferably day-old
- ●2 tablespoons olive oilfor cooking
- ●1 medium onionchopped
- ●2 cloves garlicminced

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the flank steak with salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the flank steak for 2-3 minutes per side, then transfer to the oven.

Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the steak reaches an internal temperature of 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.

Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Meanwhile, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a separate skillet over medium heat.
